As it is deemed appropriate to promote investment in senior home and welfare centers,
By virtue of section 16 paragraph 2 of the Investment Promotion Act of B.E. 2520, the Board of Investment hereby adds the following text to category 7 of the list of activities eligible for investment promotion attached to the Board of Investment Announcement No. 2/2536 dated April 9, 1993 regarding the types, sizes and conditions of activities eligible for promotion, and the following activity and conditions shall apply:

As it is deemed appropriate to promote investment in senior home and welfare centers,
By virtue of section 16 paragraph 2 of the Investment Promotion Act of B.E. 2520, the Board of Investment hereby adds the following text to category 7 of the list of activities eligible for investment promotion attached to the Board of Investment Announcement No. 2/2536 dated April 9, 1993 regarding the types, sizes and conditions of activities eligible for promotion, and the following activity and conditions shall apply:
- Services must be in accordance with standards set forth by the government.
- Investment capital of foreign investors must derive from foreign sources only.
- No foreign ownership restriction shall be imposed.
- Projects located in Zone 1 and 2 shall receive 50 percent import duty reduction on machinery that is subject to import duty greater than or equal to 10 percent.
- Projects located in Zone 3 shall receive exemption of import duty on machinery only."
